Earlier this month members of our club met with Juliet Tweed from the Well Foundation to handover 100 beautiful pairs of booties and 100 beanies which had been painstakingly made by our team of knitters. This was our East Coast Bays gift to mums and their precious babies as part of our 100 Years of Rotary in New Zealand celebrations. Juliet will pass the gift on to The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at North Shore Hospital and the very tiny sets will be sent to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.(NICU) at Auckland Hospital.
