What a wonderful day our members had when they recently attended the celebration of the Abilities Group’s 65th anniversary.
There was a fantastic turnout, and lots of e-waste was dropped off to be recycled 
Abilities, based on Hillside Road in Wairau Valley, was established by the Takapuna Rotary Club in 1959.
Abilities, has a rich history of empowering individuals with disabilities through meaningful employment opportunities. their mission has been to provide work for people with disabilities in as close to normal conditions as possible. To create an inclusive work environment, they also employ able-bodied individuals alongside those with disabilities.
Over the past 65 years, the employment opportunities provided by the Abilities Group have ensured staff members feel valued and part of their communities, which boosts their self-worth and broadens their abilities.
