The new North Shore Hospital, Tōtara Haumaru, includes a healing garden, which is a space for the community and provides patients with calming views. Green spaces in hospitals improve patient outcomes, reduce anxiety, and speed recovery times.
North Shore Rotary (formerly East Coast Bays, Milford, Takapuna, and Takapuna North Rotary Clubs) is thrilled to have contributed to this great venture. Some of our members were able to get a sneak peek of this fabulous new facility at last Sunday’s official opening.
