With great pleasure, we announce the historic merger of East Coast Bays Rotary Club, Rotary Takapuna North, Takapuna Rotary, and Rotary Milford. Effective from 1st July 2024, these clubs, with a combined 200 years of community service, have united under the name North Shore Rotary, marking a significant milestone in our collective journey of service and impact.
North Shore Rotary is not just a club; it’s a vibrant community of diverse individuals spanning generations and nationalities, united by a common passion for creating lasting and sustainable change. We are not just about service but also about fostering friendships and having fun. Our commitment to increasing our involvement in projects and activities is a testament to our dedication to making a difference in our communities and the world.
We are committed to the many Rotary youth programmes. This year, we will host two Rotary Youth Exchange students and sponsor outbound students from our local schools. These 12-month exchanges are life-changing experiences for the participants. Other annual youth programmes include the Rotary Youth Leadership Award, Model United Nations Assembly, Rotary Science and Technology Forum, Rotary Youth Driver Awareness and more.
We host several fundraising events throughout the year, including golf tournaments. Our new fundraising team hope to create more fundraising opportunities this year. You can learn more about these events as they are announced on the Our Events page.
Throughout the year, we hold project-based activities that enhance our communities, including tidying up our towns and cleaning up our reserves & parks—tree planting events, creating care packs for our hospitals, and so much more.
We meet every first and third Monday of the month from 5:30 p.m. at the Pupuke Golf Club, 231 East Coast Road, Campbells Bay. It’s a great venue overlooking the Gulf with plenty of parking, and you can have a meal if you like. Each month, there is also the opportunity to participate in social and project-based activities.
We welcome new members, so why not come along and make some new friends?
