Last Sunday, a very successful club event was held. 51 participants in 18 cars set out to find the mystery location for lunch.
The route wound its way from Milford through Silverdale, then Wainui to Highway 16 and back through Makarau and Kaipara Flats, ending up at Plume Vineyard and Restaurant in Matakana. Three cars got lost and needed to ring in to find the finish.
A lovely lunch and a glass of wine were enjoyed as attendees shared their stories on answering the 26 questions on route, turning up dead-end roads or coming across a herd of sheep blocking the road. (only in NZ).
