Congratulations to our club member Sean Harris who at the District 9910 changeover conference was awarded the Rotarian of the Year.
Past District Governor Grant Smith presented the award saying “This award is presented to the Rotarian who best epitomises the Rotary motto ‘Service Above Self’. This Rotarian has fully supported my goals of collaboration and clubs working together to achieve more in the community. From the original execution of the combined North Shore club’s native tree planting project to leading the combined North Shore club’s monthly online Zoom meetings. Passionately driving the Day of Service Clean Up project, this Rotarian has embraced the challenges I set for our clubs. He has also been president of his club for much of this Rotary year and will be commencing the role of Assistant Governor in this new Rotary year. I am delighted to announce the Rotarian of the Year award goes to Sean Harris from East Coast Bays”.
